MAMARONECK BOARD OF EDUCATION:
The Mamaroneck Board of Education has prepared a bond referendum for the
improvements of Physical Education spaces within the district. However, the
Hommocks Pool Locker Rooms have been removed from the initial list of facilities to
renovate. The Commission expressed their concerns that these areas need to be
addressed as well especially since they have a direct impact on our permit sales and
the operation of the pool facility.
After much discussion, the Commission passed the following resolution:
RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS the Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Commission resolves to urge the
Town Board to exert whatever efforts it deems appropriate to encourage the
Mamaroneck School Board to appropriate the funds necessary to effectuate the much
needed refurbishment of the Hommocks Pool Locker Rooms.
The Commission unanimously encourages the Town Board to consider this request.
