A letter was received from Ms. Elise Young asking for a refund of$115 for a School

RECREATION:
A letter was received from Ms. Sandy Korkatzis, Superintendent of Recreation, Village
of Mamaroneck requesting permission to offer instructional swim lessons during their
approved time and space at the Hommocks Pool during their camp time. Ms. Korkatzis
was informed of the current town policy which prohibits non-authorized instructors from
teaching at a Town owned facility. Ms. Korkatzis stated in her letter dated April 5, 2017
that the Village would not make a profit from these lessons and that they would supply
their own Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguards. After further discussion, Chairman
Druker, put the request out for a vote before the Commission. The Commission voted 4
to 1 to allow the Village of Mamaroneck to offer swim lessons for their campers this
summer only, under established guidelines. This request will be subject to review at the
end of the summer.
