STING OF THE TOWN BOARD
TOWN OF MAMARONECK
held August 17th, 1927
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton.
at 11:00 P. M.
Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Howell and Leeds
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
Upon motion, it was voted to dispense with the reading
of the minutes of meetings not yet approved.
The report of the Receiver of Taxes for the month of
July, 1927 was received, read, placed on file and is as follows:

The Clerk presented a communication from Mr. Ralph
A. Gamble , Counsellor , calling attention to the variance in the
amount of the public liability insurance policy furnished by the
County Transportation Company of the Town of Mamaroneck in the
operation of buses. Counsel advised that the Clerk forward to
the County Transportation Company a communication calling their
attention to the variance in the policy.
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was

RESOLVED, that the Clerk be and he hereby
is requested to advise the County Trans-
portation Company that their public lia-
bility policy in the sum of 447,500. 00 for
one person is at variance with the consent
heretofore granted to said Company, said
consent specifying the liability for one
person at 150 ,000.00.
Counsel reported progress in the matter of the claim
of the Daily Times for the publishing of the tax sale list. He
stated to the Board that he is endeavoring to secure an opinion
from the County Attorney and would undoubtedly be ready to report
at the next meeting of the Board.
Upon motion, the meeting adjourned at 11:40 P. M.
