The meeting was called t o c rder by Sup ervis or Burt on at 8:15 P. M. P RESEN T: Supervisor Burt on Justices Collins, Howell and heeds Town Clerk Sherman Also present at the meeting was J. Henry Esser, Esq ., Special Counsel of the "Westchester Joint 'Nater Norks , No. I. The Supervisor presented his report of the preliminary plan and estimate for a joint water works supply system, pursuant to Chapter 654, Laws 1927, together with the recommendation of the associate engineers for said preliminary plan and estimate, which had been approved by the Board of Trustees of the 6Vestchester Joint later -,Works, No. I. The reports were ordered received and placed on file. After a full discussion of the water situation and upon due3 consideration it was upon motion duly seconded, and upon roll call unanimously -- RESOLVED , that the Town Board of the Town of Yamaroneck hereby approve the preliminary plan and estimates, dated April 12 , 1927, for a water supply system for Westchester Joint `Hater 'forks, No. I, whereby the Town of Mamaroneck is request- ed to appropriate the sum of THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY ($361 ,370 ) DOLLARS, together with an addition- al sum for extensions to the distribution system made within the Town of Mamaroneck since June 28 , 1926 , of which sun, TaNO HUNDRED AID FORTY THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED and SEVENTY ($240 ,770) DOLLARS shall be, its contribution to,iards the central supply system, and additions thereto, and one hundred and twenty thousand six hundred ($120 ,600) Dollars the purchase price of that portion of the distribution system now owned by the New York Inter Urban Nater Company which is within this town. Upon motion duly seconded it was upon roll call unanimously RESOLVED , that the following question shall be submitted to the voters within the Town of Mamaroneck, eligible to vote at such election, at the special referendum election to be held pursuant to Chapter 654, Laws 1927, at such time and place as may hereafter be duly determined for the holding of said election, said question to be submitted as Proposition No. 11. PROPOSITION NO. II Shall the Town of Mamaroneck be authorized to i ssme water bonds in the amount of ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX THOUSAND ('156,000) DOLLARS for the purpose of puroinsing the water distribution system in said Town now owned by the New York Inter Urban Water Company; said bonds to be in the denomination of One thousand ($1,000) Dollars each, pay- able Four thousand ($4,000) Dollars two years from the date of such bonds and Four thousand ($'4,000) Dollars payable each year therwafter up to and including the year 1969, bearing interest at a rate not exceeding six per centum per annum, payable semi-annually, and shall there be levied, assessed and collect- ed annually upon the taxable property of said Town a sum suffimient to pay the principal and interest of said bonds as the same respectively become due and payable.
