TOWN OF MAMARONECK
held September 24th, 1926.
In the absence of the Supervisor, the meeting
was called to order by Justice Leeds at 9 P.M.
PRESENT: Justices Boyd, Collins,Howell, Leeds
Assessors Murray, Maddock,Mulcahy
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
The Board of Assessors having prepared tentative
jury lists, presented the same to the Board for its
consideration and after examination add verification of the
said lists by both the Town Board and the Board of Assessors
it was upon motion duly seconded
RESOLVED, that the complete lists of
grand and trial jurors be approved and
certified by the members of both Boards;
and it was further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and he
hereby is authorized and requested to
forward certified lists to the Commissioner
of Jurors in the form required by law.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 8.30 P.M.

In the absence of theSupervisot, the meeting
was called to order by Justice Boyd at 8.30 P,M.
PRESMTT: Justices Boyd, Collins,Howell,Leeds

Counsellor Gamble
Upon motion duly seconded, it was voted to
dispense with the reading of minutes of meetings not
yet approved.
The Clerk advised the Board that the County
Transportation Company, Inc. had prior to September 22nd,
1926 requested a further adjournment of the Hearing to
consider its application for consent to operate buses
within the Town of Mamaroneck to October 20th, 1926, and
that as there was no meeting of the Board during this
period the Supervisor and Town Clerk had granted such
adjournment and trka4- duly given notice thereof by
publication. He requested the Board to approve and
ratify said action.
Upon motion duly seconded it was
-- RESOLVED, that the Board ratify and approve
the action of the Supervisor and Town Clerk
in adjourning the Public Hearing of this
Board to consider the application of the
County Transportation Company, Inc. to
operate buses within the Town of Mamaroneck
from September 22nd, 1926 to October 20th,
1926, and in giving notice by publication
of said adjournment@- to said date.
Mr. Sherman called the attention of the Board to
the requirements of Section 75 of the Election Law and
requested that appropriate action be taken.
After discussion, Judge Leeds offered for adoption
the following resolutions:
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and he
hereby is authorized and requested to
cause to be prrepared, in due form,
registration and election notiees and
cause the same to be published at the
times and in the manner required by
Section 75 of the "lection Law; and be
it further
RESOLVED, that the Larohmont 'Times
published in the Village of Larchmont
and the Daily Times, published in the
Village of Mamaroneck be and hereby are
designated for the purpose of publishing
said registration and election notices;
and be it further
RESOLVED, that the cost of publishing
the aforesaid notices be a proper Town
charge and the Supervisor is accordingly
authorized and empowbred to pay for
same if and when the claims therefor,
verified in due form and audited by
the Town Board of Auditors, are
presented to him for payment.
