MEETING OF THE TOW, BOARD
TO'4v' OF MAMARONECK
held September 15, 1926.
In the absence of the Supervisor, the meeting
was called to order by Justice Boyd at 9.45 P.M.
PRESENT: Justices Boyd, Collins,Howell,heeds
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble.
Upon motion duly seconded, it was voted to
dispense with the reading of minutes of meetings not yet
approved.
Various people appeared before the Board,`
requesting approval of their building applications on
file with the Building Commissian:: ,which cases had been
referred to the Town Board upon, appeal by the applicants
from the decision of the Building Commission.
The Clerk stated that no building applications
had been filed with him by the Building. Commission or
the Building Inspector.
- There being no data available, it was upon
motion duly seconded
RESOLVED, that the Building Commission be
and it hereby is requested to submit to the
Town Board all applications wherein permits
had been refused by the Building Commission
which applications are in violation of the
Zoning Ordinance.
A communication from the weaver Street Fire House
was received and read, calling the attention of the Town
Board to the condition of the shoring and apparatus floor
oef the Fire House.
The communication was ordered noted in the minutes
placed on file and the matters contained therein referred
to the Fire Committee.
The Clerk advised the Board that at the Public
Hearing held by the Board to consider the application of
the County Transportation Company, Inc. for consent to
operate buses within the Town of Mamaroneck on August
10th, 1926, the Board by resolution had adjourned to
August 24th, 1926.
He stated that prior to August 24th, the applicant
had requested a further adjournment of the Hearing to
September 8th, 1926 and thereafter a further adjournment
to September 22nd, 1926 and that as there were no meetings
of the Board during thisperiod, the Supervisor and Town
Clerk had granted said adjournments and duly given notice
thereof by publication. Herequested the Board to approve
and ratify said action.
Upon motion duly seconded, it was
RESOLVED, that the Board ratifies and
approves the action of the Supervisor
and Town Clerk in adjourning the Public
Hearing of this Board to consider the
application of the County Transportation
— Company, Inc, for consent to operate
buses within the Town of Mamaroneck
from August 24th to September 8th and
from September 8th to September 22nd,
1926 and in giving notice by publication
of said adjournments to said dates.
A, 00mmunication from the Board of Sewer ,Commission-
ers wa.s received and read, advising the Board that they had
opened bids for the construction of a sewage pumping plant
for Sewer System in District 7r1, and requesting the Board
to immediately authorize and issue the sale of bonds for
the amount required to complete the contr.°ct,to®wit,Fifty
thousand !$50,000. ) Dollars.
The communication was ordered received, placed on
file and. the matter referred to Counsellor Gamble.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 10 °15 P.M.
