t stated meeting of the Board of Apj,eals under the Zoning
Ordinance of the Town of :?a:naroneck, ''lestchester County, N. v. was
held at the headquarters house of the Mamaroneck Town Police , in
the room assigned to this Board , at 11 Edgewood 'venue , Larc'hmont,
on Thursday evening February 27, 1930. at 8:30 olcLock.
The following members of the Board being present ;-
Mr. J. J. Rossbottom-chairman, Mr. 0. t. RaYnor, :. r. C. 1. 'IOrth,
?dr. C. W. Cross , and i:Tr. F. G. Smith.
In re- the appeal of Mr. J. F. Bowman which was an adjourned
case , there being no building plan on file , upon motion, which
was unanimously carried , same was placed on file . 4 blue-print of
a map showing the proposed takings of the Town affecting this
property was received and ordered placed on file.
In re- application of 'Tr. H. B. Rogers. .i communication
was received from the attorney for the ap;'ellant asking for an
adjournment until our next meeting. Unon motion duly seconded
and car-ied , this request was granted.
In re- 4pplication of 'ir. Carmine Tortorellt in reference
to a gasoline station, same being adjourned until this meeting;
Mr. Tortorella was informed that until such time as this 'Board
shall receive a certified copy of a resolution of the Town TToard
on Zoning stating that the pr-pertr in question has been re-zoned
for other purposes , that this Board was pewerless to act.

a one-family dwelling on the south-est corner of Chatsworth kvenue
and Rochelle Road , within ( 30) feet of Chatsworth 'avenue.
appearing in favor were Mr. J . Daly 1 Chatsworth Avenue and
Mr. Lee Terry 3 Chatsworth lvenue .
appearing in protest; - Rev. R. M. Russell, ;3r. L. D. Fernow,
Mr. E. H. Davison, Mr. Deviney, Mr. Gaiser.
&iter due consideration the following resolution was adopted: -

'venue and Rochelle Road is hereby denied and the decision
of the Building Commission upheld .

A stated meeting of the Board of Appeals under the Zoning
Ordinance of the Town od Mamaroneck, 71estehester County, N. v. was
held at the headquarters house of the Mamaroneck Town Police in
the room assigned to this Board at 11 Edgewood Avenue , Larchiont,
N . v. , on Thursday evening February 27, 1930, at 8: 30 o 'clock.
The following members of the Board being present ;-

Mr. C . W. Cross , and ,r. F. G. Smith.
Irr re- the afpeal of i.r, J. E. Bowman which wasi`ad journed
case ; there being no building plan on file, upon motion, which
was unanimously carried, same was placed on file . A blue-print of

After due consideration the following resolution was adopted ;*

Avenue and Rochelle Road is hereby denied and the decision
of the Building Commission upheld.

A special meeting of the Board of &ppeals under the Zoning
Ordinance of the unincorporated section of the Town of ,iamaroneok,
"7estchester r ounty, 7. Y; was held in the rooms assigned to this
Board at the .araaroneck Town _olice headquarters, 11 Edgewood Ave,
Town of Mamaroneck, N . Y. on Thursday evening February 13, 1930, at
8: 30 o'clock.
The following members of the Board were present: Chairman J. Jos .
Ros shot tom, Yr. Chas. C . Torth, tor. Orson A. Raynor, lr. Clifford
"7. Cross, and Mr. Fred'k G. Smith.
communication from the secretary of the Larch^ront gardens .ss'n
was received, stating that the Lirohmont Real F;state Board had in-
formed that association that a .;rs. Ida . Iarent and tit. Mr. George
Fowers were displa'7ing real estate signs announcing that they were
doing business at their resj:ective residences in violation of the
Zoning Ordinance. Upon motion, duly seconded and unanimously
carried, the clerk of this Board was instructed to co,amunicate
with this association and the Larch'r.ont Real ':state Board for the
purpose of procuring further particulars.
Mr. F. G. "with, who was appointed at a previous meeting as
a committee of one on budget, reported that he had conferred with
Supervisor Burton and that the budget amount allowed this Board
for the -Tear 1930 was fixed at Fifteen hundred and Fifty (A550.00)
Dollars.
Mr. 0. A. Rvrnor, who was appointed at a previous meeting, as
a committee of one to prepare a set of rules and regulations for
the govern:aent of this Board, submitted same at this meeting. `.'r.
Raynor also stated that he had prepared some proposed changes to the
Zoning Ordinance , which he would submit to the Town Zoning Board
for their consideration.

The following ap: eals from the Zoning Ordinance were sub:aitted:-
(1) Application of John ' . Bowman to erect a dwelling and/or any
structure on the southwest corner of . urrar Avenue and Forest Vvenue
within (30) feet of said streets.
The following, ap:,earing in opposition: - rs Frank B. Tansey,
211 Rockingstone 'ivenue, Mrs. Thomas Burke, 273 array Avenue,
Mrs. N . r. Margolin 318 Forest ivenue and by comr;iunication, rs.
Marie :f' . Hem: ick.
After due consideration, the Board being informed that the
Town was preparing to acquire a parcel of this property , the clerk
was instructed by unanimous ballott to inquire of the Town Board
the exact status of this case , and same was tabled for a final
hearing at our next stated meeting to be held on February 27, 1930.
(2) Al plication of Harry B. Rogers to erect a wall and/or arch to
dwelling on the west side of Eickory Grove nrive, not in conformity
with the side line restriction of the Zoning Ordinance . AMr. - anent
appeared in behalf of the appellant and was instructed that if he
would present a survey showing the exact location of this encum-
brance along with an letters of release from adjoining property
owners.

heard. Upon unanimous consent this appeal was tabled for hearing
at our next stated meeting, to be held February 27, 1930.
(3) application of G. Giannitti to erect a sun porch on the west
side of Homer venue within (30) feet of roimier Ive nue. 4f ter due
consideration the following resolution was adopted:
RFSOLVBD: that the application of Mr. G. Giannitti to erect
a sun porch on the west side of Homer avenue, the
same being 29' 6" from Homer avenue be svjroved and
the decision of the Building Commission be reversed.

Chatsworth 'venue. is the Zoning Ordinanee did not allow structures
of this nature in a district of that classification this appellant
waF, instructed to stake the application before the Town Board on
Zoning, bi- the unanimous consent of this Board.
( 5) application of Ir. John H. Radcliffe to erect a :rivate
garage on the east side of Cabot Road, a ;proximat8&y 105 feet
south of Boulevard, within 75 feet of Cabot toad.
after due consideration, the following resolution was
adopted;-
