The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 4:50 P. M. Present: Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, heeds and Messersmith Town Clerk Marvin Peter Dimodica addressed the Board and made application for permission to operate a billiard parlor in the basement of the live poultry market located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Valley Place« He submitted a State license to operate a billiard parlor. Upon motion by Justice Leeds, seconded by Justice Boyd the application was referred to Chief of Police Decker for invest- igation and report back to this Board. The report of the Town Clerk for the month of October was received and ordered placed on file. A communication dated November 6th was received from Donald C. Howe, Chief-Captain of the Weaver Street Fire Company No. 1. informing the Board that all the town fire fighting property had been removed from the old Dillon Park Fire House. The communic- ation was ordered received and placed on file. Counselor Gamble reported on the matter of the proposed electric light rate reduction offered by the Westchester Lighting- Company and explained its terms. He declared that the town would probably be called upon to pay its proportionate share of the cost of the negotiations leading up to this reduction. Upon motion by Justice Messersmith, seconded by the Clerk, it was unanimously RESOLVTD, that Counselor Gamble be and he hereby is authorized to sign, if so requested by the Public Service Commissiont a stipulation agreeing to the settlement of the negotiations for lower lighting rates„ without prejudice to the townts future action; and be it further RESOLVED, that he be and he hereby is authorized to negotiate the townts proportionate share of the cost of the negotiations and hearings. Edwin Dimond addressed the Board to ask that the town make an exchange with him of certain property on or near County Road 67-2. He explained that he would like to round out the lines of his property adjoining the ratroad and would exchange for the small gore owned by the town at that place , a small piece of the corner at the northeast intersection of County Road -67-2 and Echo Drive ,, which he owns and which, he saidr it would be desirable for the town to obtain in order to make a wider and better intersection. The matter was ordered referred to Counsel for report. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board unanimously resolved to recess at 5 :25 P.M. to meet at the call of the chair. Town Clerk
