Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Collins, heeds and I: essersmith
Town Clerk Marvin
The presende was also noted of Counselor Gamble and
Special Counselor Gagliardi.
The Supervisor reported that the meeting had been called
pursuant to notice duly given for the purpose of receiving bids
for bond issues totaling SIa138,114.07. The Clerk presented the
call of the meeting together with affidavits of publication of
sameq all of which were approved as printed.
The Clerk was thereupon directed to open the bids , of
which seven were received and were as follows :

The following resolutions were offered by Justice heeds
and seconded by Justice Biessersmith, to wit:
'JH7RFAS, pursuant to resolutions adopted by
the Town Board 170,747.69 Street Improvement
Bonds - 1931 (Dante Avenue , Dimi.tri Place and
Byron Lane) ; $45,437.44 Weaver Street. Sidewalk
District No. 1 Bonds c 1931 and 821,928.94
Highway Improvement Bonds - 1931 of the Town of
Mamaroneck have been duly authorized to be issued
and have been duly advertised for sale , sealed
proposals to be received up to three o "clock P.M.
(Daylight Saving Time ), on the 21st day of July,
1931, at the 'Town Board Rooms, 6 Elm street, in
the Village of Mamaroneck, New York; and
WH7R7AS2 at said time and place the following
bids were received for said bonds „ to wit.

RFAS, the lowest rate of interest bid
f or said `p1389114. 07 bonds stated in a multiple
of either one-tenth or one-quarter of one per
cent was 4..25 per cent; and
THFRTAS, the highest and best bid complying with
the terms of the notice of sale at such loosest
rate of interest was the bid of Graham Parsons
& Co. , who has offered to purchase said 8138,.114. 07
bonds at said rate of interest and to pay therefor
par value , accrued interest and: a premium of
; 1, 156.01..
RESOLVED, that the o�ger of the said Graham Parsons
Co. be and the same hereby accepted and that said
p138,-114.07 bonds bearing interest at the rate of
4.25 per centum per annum be and the same hereby are
awarded to the said Graham Parsons & Co. at the
;price aforesaid; and it is further
RESOLV7D, that the Town Clerk be and hereby i�
authorized and empoered to return to the unsuccess-
ful bidders their respective good faith checks; and
it is further
RFSOL77D2 that the Supervisor and Counsel be and
hereby are authorized and empowered to attend to
the printing of said bonds-; and it is further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor and Torn Clerk be
and they hereby are authorized and empowered to
sign, execute and deliver such other papers and
documents as may be necessary and proper to effect
the delivery of the aforesaid bonds..
-- The question of the adoption of the foregoing resolutions
was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

The Supervisor thereupon thanked the representatives of
those bidders which attended the meeting in person and invited :them
to submit bids for any future bond issues of the town.
The Supervisor reported that the matter of a change in
the specifications for a curb and gutter in the Boston Post Road
Improve sc-nt had not yet been settled.
after discussion it eras upon motion by the Clerk, seconded
by Justice Boyd, upon roll call unanimously
RESOLVED, that the matter of the curb and gutter
in the Boston Post Road Improvement be and it
hereby is m(erred with power to Supervisor Burton,
Superintendent of Highways Coles and Counselor
Gamble.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board unanimously
resolved to adjourn at 4 P. I.T.
