The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 4.15 P. V. Present: Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, heeds, Kessersmith Town Clerk Varvin The presence was also noted of Counselor Gamble. Ur. H. J. Brewer, Chairman of the Building Commission, presented a claim by Francenia Erickson in the amount of X410.00 for typing addi- tional copies of the new Building Code, punching and binding same, in- cluding paper and binders. Mr. Brewer said this work had been necessary and recommended payment of the claim. Upon motion by Justice Messersmith, seconded by Justice Boyd, it was upon roll call unanimously RESOL VED, that on the recommendation of the Building Commission the claim of Francenia Erickson in the sum of $10.00 as above de- scribed, be and the same hereby is approved and ordered paid. The Clerk presented a communication dated February 17th, addressed to him by Thomas B. Buhler, Insurance Agent, covering the Fire Insurance of the Weaver Street Fire House, together with a copy of a letter to Mr. Buhler from bEr. H. D. Manes, Special Agent of the Hart- ford Fire Insurance Company. The communications stated that no reduction could be secured on the rates for the Fire house. The matter was referred to the Fire Howse Committee. A communication was received from the -urray Avenue School Parent Teacherts Association thanking the Toren Board for the use of the Fire House Auditorium on Wednesday, February 11th. The letter was ordered received, acknowledged and placed on file. Counselor Gamble presented copy of a letter dated February 4th addressed to him by Blue:.Club Coach Lines, Inc. , requesting that a date be set for a public hearing on its application to pick up and drop passengers at Mamaroneck. After discussion it was upon motion by Justice Kessersmith, seconded by Justice Boyd, upon roll call unanimously RESOLtirED, that a public hearing on the appli- cation of the Blue Club Coach Lines, Inc. , to pick up and drop passengers in the Town of Mamaroneck in accordance rrith its application be held Wednesday, Karch 25th, at 8 P. and be it further PFS©IMI), that the Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed to have published in The Daily Times a notice of said nearing as prepared by Counsel. 3 Justice YessersTaith on behalf of the Fire House Committee reported to the Board that the Fire House is being used by local or- ganizations almost every day, sometimes two and three times a day; that the work of keeping the entire building clean and in shape for public use is becoming very heavy and imposes onerous duties on the Firemen; that the Fire House Committee recommended the employment of a part= time janitor and that the Fire House Committee requests authori- ty to obtain the services of a part time janitor at a salary of not -- more than $100. 00 per month, said ,janitor to be employed only as long as necessary and when necessary. After discussion it was upon motion by Justice Yessersruith, seconded by Justice Leeds , upon roll call unanimously BESOLVFD, that the Fire House Committee be and it hereby is authorized, empowered and directed to secure the services of a part time janitor For the ,leaver Street Fire House at a salary of not more than $ 100.00 per month to be employed as long as the committee deems it necessary and when the committee deems it necessary. Upon motion, the Board unanimously resolved to recess at 5 P. Y. to meet- cn Saturday, February 21st at 3 P. Ii. Town Clerk.
