If these measures could be avoided by more water moving in and out, he would recommend them. Funding - There is no money for scientific studies in the wetlands part of the anvi ronmental quality Bond Act, but there is money for restoration, improvement, and acquisition. Mr. Fried stated that the CAC should qualify under the program IF of state aid. to municipalities for restoration. U- ?• ec - C The rocedur� is to do an e�4an..,.r ink; study, send it to the rez,ional office fro_:1 which it is sent to the central office, where it is edited and evaluated. Priorities are established and the CAC project would be weighed against requests for restoration funding from other munici- palities. Mrs. Fred'ston will keep in touch with Mr. Fried and will got from him names to contact in New Pa.ltz. L. L.I .F.E. The Town has appropriated funds for LIFE through the end of 1974, which might be continued, pending the hiring of a full-ti:_e envirc i-ental coordinator. The new executive director of LIFE must be acceptableto CAC, and CAC must approve the monthly payments. Sterbenz, Mr. Young, and Mr. Griffen, Society of Friends, to discuss clean up of Quaker enc}, possibly, Barker ce,,eteries. Plans were made for a selective clean up, leaving the important growth; planned plantings and a trail to be maintained by the Town BeautificationQ Committee; and a stone wall to be built, with gravestones cemented into it, dividing the cemetery and parking lot. $120.00 a year is available fro:. Quaker funds. State law permits use of town funds if cemetery is declared an historical site. Mr. Lowy would like to speak to Mr. Emanuelson regarding funds, the law and Village cf Larchn•ont property at the reservoir. There is a proposal to turn this into a conservation area. 6.
