held. December 3rd, 1930.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at
10:45 P. M.
Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Collins and Leeds
Town Clerk Marvin
The minutes of the meetings of November 12th and 19th were
read by the Clerk and approved as read.
The Clerk inquired how many copies the Board wished to have
made of the new zoning snap -daich is now being prepared at the re-
quest of the Board of Appeals for Zoning. After discussion it was
upon motion by Justice Leeds, seconded by Justice Collins,
unan imous ly
RESOLVED, that the Clerk be and he hereby is
directed to secure an estimate of the cost of
five certified copies of said new zoning Trap,
all to be mounted on linen, of which two would
be for use in the town offices, two for use of
the Board of kopeals for Zoning and one for the
use of the Building Commission, and also an
estimate of the cost of having a plate made
for the printing of a -number of small copies
of this map for public use; and it was further
RESOLVED, that the Clerk notify the Board of
Appeals of this action.
The Clerk reported the recei_Dt cf' a notice frcm the
Department of A_r, cultv.re a-, d_ Jlarlcets, State of New York notify-
ing the town board that it would be necessary to appoint in the
month of .December, 1930, one or more persons to be known as
t°Enumerators" whose duty it w 11 be to -prepare a list of all
owners or narborers of dogs in the town in the month of January,
1931. The matter was referred to Justices Boyd and Collins.
The Clerk reported receipt of a claim from H. lvl.
'Fnitaker cc Company, Insurance Agents, for fire insurance for the
hook and ladder truck based on an estimated valuation of 05300.00.
He said that since the estimated valuation of the truck for the
previous year was 5p6,000.00 he rea�uested_ a resolution approving
the decrease which he said was due to the annual depreciation as
computed by the Insurance Compan�7 . Upon motion by Justice Leeds,
seconded by Justice Collins, it was upon roll call unanimously
R=,LVED, 'UTHEREAS, by reason of the annual
depreciation of the American LaFrance hook_
and ladder truck of the '` eaver Street Fire
Company, the _present estimated. -raluation of
the truck is computed by ther'ire Insurance
Compahy as X5300.00, there_'ore be it
RESOLVED, that this Board. do and it hereby
does approve of the an_rn3:rt of x%5300. 00 as
the estimated_ valuation of this truck as
established by '-the ?ire Insurance Company.

In connection with the installation of additional shelving
in the town hall heretofore authorized by the Town Board, it was
discovered that there was a leak in the roof of the town hall,
the Clerk reported. He stated that rain water was damaging the
records stored in the town hall and that he had ordered immediate
repairs to be made to cost about x:40.00, to secure proper protec-
tion of the town records and he requested approval of his action.
Upon motion by Justice Boyd, seconded by Justice Collins, it was
upon roll call unanimously
RESOLVED, that the action of the Town Clerk
in ordering repairs to the roof of the town.

The Supervisor reported that a communication had been
addressed to Captain Decker of the weaver Street Police Department
by the Parent-Teacher Association of the via -ray Avenue School in
regard to stray dogs that are permitted to ran loose during school
hours, which communication is identical to that presented to the
Town Board at its meeting of ?ovember 19th. He requested Judge
Leeds to take up this matter with the committee appointed earlier
in the evening to consider the appointment of the Enumerator to-wait:
Justices Boyd andCollins, and the Clerk was directed to inform the
Parent-Teacher Association of hurray Avenue School of this action.
The Clerk inquired if the ;Board did not feel that 120. 00
per day was a rather- high rental to pay for the use of polling
places for elections.
The Board discussed the matter and took no action.
Upon motion dull= made and seconded the Board unanimously
adjourned at 11:45 P . M.
