Y. held November 12th, 1930 The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 11 :30 P. H. Present; Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, Collins, heeds and Yessersmith Town Clerk harvin The presence was also noted of Counselor Gamble. The Cleric suggested that in vies of the fact that there were Several persons present who Dished to address the Board, the regular order of business be suspended in order to hear those present. Yrs. Annie L. Florence , owner of property on the 'lost Road which she is desirous of having rezoned addressed the Board and asked if any action had been taken by the Board on her application to re-zone as a result of the public hearing held thereon on Sept. 17th. Supervisor .Burton said that since the takings for the Boston Post Road improvement had not yet been completed he suggest- ed that no action be taken upon_ Yrs. Florence 's application at this time. The matter was by resolution laid over for t=om future consid- eration. --- kichael Doherty addressed the Board in regard to the fire protection for Dillon Park. He said that the insurance rates for that section had been doubled bacause of lack of protection there and strongly urged the Board to do something about it. He suggested that a contract be made with the City of Lew RochI le for fire protection in Dil-on Park but was advised by the Board to get in touch with the City of New Rocfelle and the Board of Fire Underwriters to get further information about his proposal. yr. Joseph Mancusi appeared on behalf of his client Joseph j. Zlaccaro who is the owner of premises known as Section 1, Block 65A, Lots 2 and 3 , which he desired to have rezoned from Unclassified district to Business district. After considerable discussion, the Supervisor told Mr. hancusi that the matter would be .aken up later. Ex. Gamble reported in connection with the claim of Jefferson Zimmerman of Winthrop Avenue and Post Road, Larchmont for a refund of fees paid for a building permit which was denied by the Building Commission. He said that this Matter was referred to him at a recent meeting, and he recommended as follows : That the !own retain : 1.00 of the fee paid as a basic charge for work done by the Building commission in inspecting and considering the clans and that the balance , to wit; 43.00 in this case be refunded to the claimant. Upon motion by the Town Clerk seconded b y Justice I Boyd, it was upon roll call unanimously RESOLVED, that in accordance with the recommend- ation of Counselor Gamble , a refund of :3. 00 paid as fee for a building permit by Jefferson Zimmerman, ;which permit was denied by the Building Commission be and hereby is approved, further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby is authorized and directed to male _payment of the aforesaid refund.. Supervisor Burton suggested that the Town Board take cognizance of the honor paid to it and the pleasure felt by the members of said Board by the election to the Assembly of its Counsel, Ralph A. Gamble , and that he would more than gladly entertain a motion to that effect. Vlon motion of Justice Boyd, seconded by Justice Collins, it was upon roll call unanimously RFSOI73D, 1HEREAS9 RALPH A GAHWE has been Counsel to the 'Town of lamaronEch for a number of years and during that time has earned the affection and loyalty of all the members of the Town Board, and i!utERFAS, RALPH A UrMBLE has recently been elected a Eember of the State Assembly by a handsome majority, and '.R_AS, the members of this Town Board feel highly honored that their isteemed colleague has received this enjoyable distinction at the hands of the voters of this assembly district, therefore be it RESOLUD, that this Town .Board do and it hereby does most heartily congratulate RALPH A. GA sLE and wish him continued success and happiness; and be it further RFSOLVM, that a copy of this -resolution be forwarded to RALPH A SAHBLE, and be it further RFSOLVED, that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the Town Board and made a part of the permanent record of the proceedings of this Board® bpcn motion the meeting adjourned at midnight.
