The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton
at 10 :10 P. K.
Present: Supervisor Eurton
Justices Boyd, Leeds and Tessersmith
Town Clerk .!Marvin
The presence was also noted of Counselor Gamble,
The minutes of the meetings of June 18th, 19th and
23rd,. and July 2nd, were approved as read by Justice Messersnith
who kindly consented to act for the Clerk, the latter having a
sore throat.
A communication was received from Clark, Close and Davis
in regard to the 1930 taxes on property recently bought by the
Board of Park Commissioners for the Park at the Station, which
taxes the Town agreed to assume in making the purchase. The
_letter reouested a resolution exdmpting this property from the
1930 tax roll..
Upon motion by Justice Leeds , seconded by Justice
.lessersmith , it was unanimously
RESOLVED, that the matter be referred to Counsel.
The Supervisor suggested that the regular order of bus-
iness be suspended in order to hear those present who wished to
address the Boardt and it was unanimously so resolved.
Hugh Kafka , Architect of New Rochelle , representing
Bose & Parker, melt addressed: the Board in regard to the proposed
rezoning of his client 's property situated on the northwest corner
of the Boston Post Road and Weaver Street. He said that he had
examined the new maps for the widening of the Post Road and that
the plans for the filling station which his clients proposed to
erect were in harmony therewith. He requested that the Board take
action 6n the petition which he presented at the meeting of July
2nd, seeking a change of zoning for this property from F Unclass-
ified to C Business.
Upon motion by Justice Leeds, seconded by the Clerk, it
was upon roll call unanimously
RESOLVED, that the petition presented by Hugh
Kafka; on behalf of Bose & Parker, Inc. , request-
ing the Town Board to hold a hearing pursuant to
law in regard to the proposed change of zoning
of the above described property, be and it here-
by is received and that Counsel and Clerk be and
they hereby are authorized and directed to prepare
proper notices for public hearing on this petition,.
and that the plans for the new building be submitted
at that time , said hearing to be held Wednesday,
August 6th, at 8®30 P. A
There being no other persons present who wished to
address! the Board the regular order of business was resumed.
A letter was received from Sellar Bullard, nephew of
the late Doctor William 7. Bullard, thanking the Town Board and
Town office for the flozers and card of sympathy sentat the time
of Doctor Bullard's funeral. The communication was ordered receled
and spread upon the minutes as follows:

card of sympathy which were sent to the home of our uncle ,
Dr. William F. Bullard.

in the community and the expressionsof regard and respect
received were Very touching and sincerely appreciated by his
family.

letter from Charles J. R. Decker, County Clerk,
addressed to the Town Clerk was read by the latter wherein hr.
Decker stated that there would be no change from non-personal
to personal registration in the Village of Larchmont. The letter,
was ordered received and referred to Counsel.
The report of the Town Clerk for the month of Jun.e
waa ordered received and placed on file.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned at 10 ®55 A M.
