Burdick, Recording Secretary Lisa Parrilla, Public Stenographer Kazazes and Associates Suite 24, 250 East Hartsdale Avenue Hartsdale, NY 10536 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Reader at 8:18 PM. She stated that the resignation of Joel Negrin had been received. Mrs. Reader thanked Mr. Negrin for all of his hours of diligent, understanding service. She stated that he had made an invaluable contribution to the Board and his community. On behalf of the Board, Mrs. Reader wished Mr. Negrin good luck. APPROVAL OF MINUTES On motion of Mr. Darsky, seconded by Mr. Gonye, the minutes for March were unanimously approved. PUBLIC HEARING - Amended Site Plan - New Car Dealership - Alfredo Gulla - 2533 Boston Post Road - Block 504 Lot 134. Carlos Garcia of MBM Contracting appeared. He stated that the State Department of Transportation had approved an unloading zone in the Post Road and that it would supply signs for the street. Mr. Jakubowski, the Building Inspector, in a memo of April 12, 1995 had informed the Planning Board of this development. Mr. Garcia apologized to the Board for the divergence from the original plans. He stated that no changes had been made to the footprint and that field conditions had caused variations to the site. Mr. Darsky and Mr. Fay were troubled that despite the time this Board spent making decisions its resolutions had been flouted. Planning Board April 12, 1995 -2- Mr. Silverberg stated that he did not think the Planning Board had the authority to change the striping in the parking area which had been granted a variance by the Zoning Board of Appeals. Mrs. Reader forcefully reprimanded Mr. Gulla and MBM Contracting for its improper actions in not informing the Building Department of the changes during construction. On motion of Mr. Murray, seconded by Mrs. Harrington, the following resolutions were adopted by a vote of 5-1, Mr. Fay opposed. WHEREAS, Alfredo Gulla has submitted an application for Amended Site Plan Approval for the construction of a new car dealership located at 2533 Boston Post Road and known on the Tax Assessment Map of the Town of Mamaroneck as Block 504 Lot 192; and WHEREAS, the Planning Board has been designated lead agency and has conducted and completed proceedings pursuant to SEQR; and WHEREAS, the Planning Board has reviewed all of the submissions by, and on behalf of, the applicant, all correspondence from Town officials, the Consulting Engineer to the Town, and the Coastal Zone Management Commission and members of the public, and a Public Hearing having been held pursuant to notice on April 12, 1995; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Amended Site Plan Approval is hereby granted for the application submitted by Alfredo Gulla as presented in the revised plans of January 3, 1995 and as described by a letter dated February 21, 1995, subject to all terms and conditions set forth herein. 1. The parking lot shall be re-striped in accordance with the plan granted a variance by the Zoning Board of Appeals. 2. The foundation of the building shall be repainted a light grey. On motion of Mrs. Harrington, seconded by Mr. Darsky, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Public Hearing be, and hereby is, declared closed. ADJOURNMENT On motion of Mrs. Harrington, seconded by Mrs. Reader, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 PM.
