MINUTES - NOVEMBER 9, 2016
A regular meeting of the Town of Mamaroneck Traffic Committee was held on November 9, 2016, at 8 PM in The
Town Center Courtroom, 740 W. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, NY 10543.

• Review of Minutes of September 28, 2016.
OLD BUSINESS/FOLLOW UP ITEMS
1. Speeding on Laurel Avenue.
Lt. Creazzo provided updated information on the observations of cars on the street. There
does not appear to be any action necessary at this time.
2. Parking -Thompson Road and Laurel Avenue.
Review of Cabot Road ordinance adopted in 2001 that provides for only 2 hour parking on
weekdays between 8:00am and 5:00pm. The Traffic Committee recommends the same
law as used on Edgewood Avenue between Murray Avenue and North Chatsworth Avenue
10:00AM - 11:00AM and 2:00PM - 3:00PM.
3. Accessible Parking Spaces - 17 North Chatsworth Avenue.
4. Correspondence - Louise Elton - Accessible Parking Space - Alden Road and Copley
Road. Ms. Elton appeared before the Traffic Committee. The Traffic Committee
recommends the installation of two accessible spaces on Copley Road at the location
identified by the Highway Superintendent. The Traffic Committee also requests that we
investigate additional overnight parking in this area. The Traffic Committee also approved
accessible spaces on Murray Avenue at the location recommended by Louis, Martirano,
Highway Superintendent.

5. Review of Proposed Village and Town documents from the Town Clerk, Christina Battalia.
