Upon motion, duly seconded, it eras voted to dispense
vith the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet approved..
A communication from the leceiver of Taxes was received
and read, stating that the amount of unpaid. 1928 school taxes ,
School District lfo. 1; for the ',period ending June 30th, 1929 , is
:42-g:61i c06.

The communication was ordered received, placed on file ,
whereupon, the folloy�,ing resolution was presented for adoption;
V, 7riS, this Board has received from t.fle
Receiver of Taxes of this 2o4vn, a statement
under the provisions of section 28 of the
Westchester County Tax Act, from iinich it
appears that on June 3OL'n, 1929 , he sum of
P42,611.66, was outstanding and unpaid for
school taxes which were levied on September
1st, 1928; and
WHTI-17AS, the Supervisor has requested this
Board to authorize the issuance and sale of
one or more temporary certificates of irdcbt-
cdness not exceeding in the aggregate said
su^, of ypa29611..-66 , being the amount reported
by said Receiver of 'Taxes to be uncollected
and outstanding on June 30th, 1929 as afore-
saidgnow therefore be it
R_SOLVTD, that pursuant to the provisions of
the destch.estor County Tax Act , the Supervisor
be and he hereby is authorized and empov, ered
to borrow upon the faith and credit of the Town
of Ya:maroneck, t_ae said sari of 42 ,611.66 for
which susn he shall issue in the name and under
the seal of said Toga_; against uncollected School
Taxes levied on Septe::ioer 1, 1928, one or more
certificates of indebtedness , each in such
denomination as the Supervisor may determine ,
not exceeding in the aggregate the said sum
of '342 ,611.66, which shall bear interest at
the rate of not more than 6,i per annum and shall
be made payable at such time as the Supervisor
may determine , but not later than that allowed
by ia4v. Said certificate of indebtedness shall
be signed by the Town Clerk; and it is further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby
is authorized and empowered to dispose of
said certificates of indebtedness for not less
than the par value thereof; and it is further
RE'SOLVHED, that the Supervisor and Toe-rn Clerk
be and they hereby are authorized and aupa,_uered
to sign and execute such papers as may be nec-
essary to effect the sale of said certificates..
vote being taken upon the foregoing resolutions,
the same rae-re declared unanimously adopted.
