the meeting was called to order by Supervisor _3urton at
10-.,45 P. I.I.
Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Howell and Leeds
Town Clerk Sherman
Counsellor Gamble
Upon motion, duly seconded, it was voted to dispense
with the reading of the minutes of meetings not yet. approved.
Justice Boyd offered for adoption the following
resolutions ;
`EETRFAS, by an order of this Board made and
adopted at a meeting held on November 27 , 1928,
Weaver Street Sidewalk District Yo®- 1 of the
Town of 1tramaroneck, lNew York, was duly established
and the construction of a concrete sidewalk along
said _�eaver Street within said District was duly
authorized in accordance with the ,provisions of
Article I1-a of the To-on Law; and
'd'IT'PE AS , the cost of said. improvement and the
- expense thereof is to be assessed -partly
against the property fronting on said street and
ioartly against the property, located within the
boundaries of said district as provided by Section
253 of the Town Law; and
ifiEREAS9 this Board has ascertained the approx-
imate cost of said improvement and the expense
t'aereof to be the sum of approximately 51501000.00 ;
and
P ,AS , this Board now desires to provide the
said sum of 550 ,000.00 by the issuance and sale
of a temporary certificate of indebtedness to pay-
the cost and expense of said improvement;
ITO"v`J, T_IHFREFORE, it is

RESOLVED, by this Board that the Supervisor be
and hereby is authorized and directed to borrow
upon the faith and credit of the To n of Mamaron-
eck the said sum of 3509000.00 for which he shall
issue in the name and under the seal of said Town
a temporary certificate of indebtedness for a sum
not exceeding the said sum of £x503.000.00 which
shall 'near interest at a rate not to exceed 6
per annum and to mature at such time as the
Supervisor may determine not exceeding, however,
one year from the date thereof; and it is further
RESOLVED, that said certificate shall be paid with
the amount realized from the assessment to be made
in the manner provided by said Section 253 of the
Torn Law and/or from the proceeds of the sale of
sidewalk bonds to be sold as provided by said
Section 253 of said Town Law; and it is further

RESOLVED, that said certificate shall be sold
for not less than the par value thereof and that
the Supervisor and Town Clerk be and they hereby
are authorized and empowered to sign, execute and
deliver such papers as may be necessary and proper
to effect the sale of said certificate.
The question of the adoption of the foregoing resolutions
was put to a vote which resulted as follows .-

The Chair declared the resolutions unanimously adopted.
WHEREAS , a claim has been presented to this
Board for damage to an automobile , sustained
on Harmon Drive on larch 30, 1929 ; and
WHEREAS , in the opinion of Counsel and this
Board, such claim should be paid and allowed
in the amount of Thirty Dollars (: 30.00) ;
YOWL THEREFORE, he it

RESOLVED, that this Board approves the claim
of Douglas Peterson and allows the same at the
price of Thirty Dollars 030®00) ; further
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and he hereby
is authorized and empowered to dram a check to
-- the aforesaid Douglas Peterson in the sum of
430®00 after said claim has been duly audited.
