PRESENT: Supervisor Burton Justices Boyd, Collins,Howell & Leeds Town Clerk Sherman Counsellor Gamble. The minutes of meetings of Januzry 13tH February itho llth, 18th, March 6th, 12th, 26th, 30th and April 13th, 1926, were read and upon motion approved. The Report of the Receiver of Taxes fcr the month of Morch,1926, was received, r. ead, ordered placed on file and is as follows : Idarch,April 1926. Dear Sir.® I beg to submit herewith the report of the office of the Town Clerk for the month of March 1926, which is as follows : Dag licenses issued 17 37.25 Hunting " li 5 6,25 Marriage'' of 7 14.00 Chattel mortgages filed. 123 12.76 Total amount received, 70.26 Paid to County Treas. dog fees 33.010 Pail to County Cler .hunting fees 5 160 Paid County Clerkomarriage fees 7.00 45.OQ Paid. to Supervisor, 25.26 Respectfully submitted, (sgnd) Frederick Ind, Sherman Town Clerk, The Supervisor reported that a resolution had been adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Westchester Union WaterWorks,No. 1 approving the revised preliminary plan and estimate for a joint water supply system, and requested that a resolution be adapted approving of the said plan and requesting an appropriation for the Town of Mamaroneck. Upon the recommendation of the Supervisor it was upon motion duly seconded and upon Roll Call unanimously RESOLVED, that the TownBoard of theTolwm of Mamaroneck hereby approve the revised preliminary plan and estimates, dated April 9919260 for a water supple system for Westchester Union Water Works No. 1 whereby the Toon of Mamaroneck: is requested to appropriate for said purpose the sum of $327, 250, of which $206, 650 shall be its contribution towards the central plant, and additions thereto, and $120, 600 the purchase price of that portion of the distribution system now owned by the New Yost Inter-Urbl.ri Water Company which is within this Town. The Committee heretofore appointed to loop into the question of alteration and reconstruction to the floor of the apparatus room at the Weaver Street Fire House presentee: their report together with plans and specifi- cations covering the furnishing of labor and materials to complete the work and recommended that the Town Beard advertise for bids covering the same. Upon motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the report of the aforesaid Committee be received and filed and the plans and specifications be approved, and it was further RESOLVED, that Counsel be and he hereby is directed to immediately prepare an advertise- ment for the receipt of bias covering the work recommended in the report and in accordance with the plans and specifications submitted, and it was further RESOLVED, that bads be received by thisBoard until 2 P.M. Way light savings time ), on May 12, 1926; and it was further RESOLVED; that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed to publish the aforesaid advertisement in the Mamaroneck paragraph and the Daily Times for at least two successive weeks. The Committee on Fire House recommended that fireman Cameron now serving on probation be appointed a regular fireman, at a salary at the rate of 135.Qp- per month, effective May 1091926. Upon motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that fireman Cameron now serving on probation at the Weaver Street Fire House be and he hereby is appointed a regular fireman, effective May 1091926; at a salary at the rate of $135.00 per month; and it was further RESOLVED, that the Committee be and it hereby is authorized and empowered to purchase necessary and suitable equipment for fireman Cameron.
