HomeMy WebLinkAbout1937_12_18 Town Board Minutes SPECIAL -�MEETING OF TIC TOWN BOARD TOWN OF MAIURONECK, NEW YORK HELD DECETIBER 18, 1937 At the Town Offices, 158 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, N. Y. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch at 9:45 A. 'K. Present: Supervisor b"cCulloch Councilmen Bates, Brennan, Griffin, Meginniss Absent: None The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Marvin and Town Attorney Delius. The Supervisor stated that the meeting was called for the purpose of considering the recommendation of the Fire Chief as approved by the Fire Council that paid fireman Michael Gallagher be suspended without pay for three days. The Supervisor thereupon swore in dr. George Gordon as stenographer. Mr. Gordon made stenographic notes of the proceedings which are attached hereto and made a part of these minutes. After all the witnesses had been heard, the room was cleared of all persons except the members of the Town Board and the Town Clerk. The Supervisor thereupon directed the Town Clerk to call the roll on the following question: Shall the recommendation of the Fire Chief as approved by the Fire Council, namely, that paid fireman 'Mlichael Gallagher be suspended for three days without pay, be approved? The Clerk thereupon called the roll which showed as follows: Council: To sustain the action of the Fire Chief and the Fire Council: Supervisor McCulloch Councilmen: Bates, Brennan, Meginniss Not to sustain the action of the Fire Chief and the Fire Councilman Griffin The Clerk was thereupon directed to notify those persons who had previously been present to re-enter the room and the Supervisor announced to them the decision of the Board. At 11: 30 P. M. the Board unanimously resolved to adjourn. own Clerk
