The meeting was called to order by Supervisor LcCulloch
at 240
Present : Supervisor iicCulloch
Councilmen Bates Brennan =riffin 1�iegin.niss
Absent: Slone
The presence .vas also noted of Town Clerk lriarvin, =1i Ehvray
Foreman lerola, Superintendent of Hi Iurays Foote, Town Clerk-elect
Payne and former Just=_ce of the Peace "'ialter C, Durbank.
The Board discussed the raatter of awarding a contract for
the collection of J,arbage, swill, et cetera, bids for which had been
received at the ineeti:ng on December 1. 1937 .
High,^;ay Foreman 1, erola reported that mr. Donofrio who in
association with Par< Staropoli, submitted the to+Test bid on
December 1, 1937, was the same 'sir. Donofrio who was associated with
ir> fe Falco as rdrbage contractors for the Town for the years 1934
and 1935, and that during that time the -.,ork had been done satis-
factorily. He further stated that when at the close of the fear
1935 the contract had not been awarded to the then contractors but
to new contractors, the then contractors continued to carry out their
worn according to contract .
On _motion by 11r. Brennan, seconded by i.,r. Bates it was
uaon roll call unanimously
RESOLVED that the contract for the removal from the
buildings in Garbage fistrict I'o. 1 of the Town of
Eamaronec'_- and for the disposition of swill, garbage,
ashes, et cetera from, said buildings for the _oeriod
of one year bevinninm January 1, 1938, be and it
hereby is awarded to Lorenzo fonofrio and Tony
Staropoli -��,hose bid of .!-10, 400 was the lowest re-
ceived by the Town Board when the bids were opened
on 7�eceLfoer 1, 1937; and be it
7TD,HTiLR RESOVED that the 'Town Cler'_-: return to the
unsuccessful bidders their bid checks or cash
deposits.
At 3: 20 P. Y. the Board unanimously resolved to adjourn,
