Y. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch at 2:00 P. N. Present: Supervisor 1acCulloch Councilmen Bates, Brennan, Griffin Absent: Councilman r:eginniss The presence was also noted of Town Clerk :Marvin and Town Attorney Delius. The Supervisor stated that the meeting was called for the purpose of receiving bids on x;:10,000 Public ',forks Bonds of the Town of ' amaroneck, in accordance with notice duly given. He inquired if there were any persons present who desired to submit any bids. There being none, he directed the Clerk to open those bids which he had already received. The Clerk opened the bids which showed as follows: _?ame of Bidder: Rate of Interest : Amount Bid: Roosevelt 2 ':Ieigold 3.75yo 100.15 The First rational Bank of Vilount Vernon, '_V. Y. 2. 75 $~10,005.00 Brown C", roll 4J 410, 028.00 The following resolution was offered. by Councilman Bates and seconded. by Councilman Brennan, to-wit: —REREAS, pursuant to the resolution passed by this Board on February 17, 1937, '§10, 000 Public Works Bonds of the Town of -Eamaroneck have been duly advertised for sale on notice published in THE DAILY TI2ES, which is designated the official newspaper of the 'Down for such publication, sealed proposals to be received and considered at 2: 00 o' clock P. w,. , Eastern Standard Time, on the 16th day of March, 1937; and WFEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the receipt of bids, the following bids were received for said bonds, to-wit: 1�jame of Bidder: Rate of Interest: Amount Bid: Roosevelt & ,Veigold 3.75% 100.15 The First Niational Bank of >+4ount Vernon, N. Y. 2.75% `$10, 005. 00 Brown C'c Groll 4jb 010 028.00 'T3�'REAS, the lowest rate of interest bid for said bonds, stated in a multiple of one-quarter or one-tenth of one percent uum per annum, was 2. 75 per cent; and 255 �IEREAS, the highest and best bid, complying with the terms of sale, at such lowest rate of interest, was the bid of The First National Bank of Mount Vernon, pi. Y. who offered to purchase said bonds at said rate of interest and to pay therefor par value, accrued interest and a premium of X35.00; RESOLzED, that the bid of the said First tational Bank of `1rio�.xnt Vernon, N. Y. be and the same is hereby accepted, _ and said ti?10,000.00 Public Works Bonds, bearing interest at the rate of 2.75 per century per annum, are hereby awarded to the said First National Bank of -4ount Vernon, :v. Y. at the price aforesaid. Adopted by the following vote: A77 S: Supervisor DIcCulloch Councilmen Bates, Brennan, Griffin NOES; None The Clerk was unanimously directed to return to the un- successful bidders their bid checks. At 2;15 P. T.i. the Board unanimously resolved to adjourn. �¢ r •
