The meeting was called to order by Supervisor I,TcCulloch at ii`. Present: Supervisor rdcCulloch Councilmen Bates, Brennan, Griffin, I,ieginniss The presence was also noted of Town Clerk iviarvin and Town Attorney Delius. The Supervisor stated that the meeting was called for the urpose of receiving proposals for $ 45, 000 highway Bonds of 1936 and 36, 000 Water Distribution System Bonds. The Town Clerk reported that due notice of the sale of these bonds had been given as required by law and submitted affidavits to that effect. The Supervisor inquired if there were any persons present who desired to submit proposals who had not already done so . WHEREAS, the following proposals were received for X45, 000 Highway Bonds of 1936 and 836, 000 Water Distribution System Bonds offered for sale on October 15, 1936, at 1: 30 o' clock P. -Ni. Gibbons & Co. 3. 70;% 3.200 ` 45,090.00 $36, 072.00 45,022.50 36, 018.00 Roosevelt 8-' eigold 4% 3 1/4% 45,036.00 361028.80 Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the '';45,000 highway Bonds of 1936, referred to in the preamble hereof, shall bear interest at the rate of three and one-quarter per centum ( 3 M per annum, and that the X36, 000 titlater Distri- bution System Bonds, referred to in the preamble hereof, shall bear interest at the rate of .three and one-quarter per centum ( 3a%) per annum, and that all of said bonds shall be and hereby are awarded to 1� essrs. A. C. Allyn & Co. and E. H. Rollins L Sons at the aggregate price bid of �;�81, 162.00 and accrued interest at the rate borne by the bonds from the date of the bonds to the date of payment of the purchase price, and it is FT)RTFrER RESOLVED that the proper officials of the Town of sIamaroneck are hereby authorized and directed to execute said bonds and to deliver them to the said purchasers upon receipt of payment therefor in accordance with this resolution_. The foregoing resolution was adopted. by the following vote: AYES: Supervisor -McCulloch Councilmen Bates, Brennan, Griffin, I.ie inniss NAYS: None On motion duly made and seconded it was unanimously RESOLVED that the Clerk be and he hereby is directed to return to the unsuccessful bidders their bid checks. The Supervisor said that the next order of business would be the opening of proposals for police uniforms in accordance with the notice duly given. The Town Clerk reported that due notice that the Board would receive proposals for police uniforms had been given as required by law and submitted affidavits to that effect . He reported that only one bid. -- had been received. On motion by i�leginniss, seconded by Mr. Brennan, it was unanimously RESOLVED, 0ILREAS but one proposal has been received for suprlying uniforms for the Police Department of the Town of t: amaroneck in accordance with notice duly given; NOV'd, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this proposal be rejected; and be it FURT= RESOLVED that notice be given of the receipt of proposals for said uniforms at the meeting of the Town Board to be held on October 21, 1936.
