Y. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch at - , 3:15 P. M. Present: Supervisor McCulloch Councilmen Bates, Brennan, Griffin Absent: Councilman Meg' inniss The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Marvin, Town Attorney Delius and Munn Brewer, Counsel to the Board of Trustees of the Westchester Joint Water Works, No. 1. The Supervisor stated that the Board of Trustees of the Westchester Joint Water Works, No. 1, on which Board he is the Town representative, had estimated that based on the present rates for water in the unincorporated section of the Town a deficit of S,2,000 - $2,500 would occur in the year 1936. He stated further that the pre- sent rates charged by the Westchester Joint Water Works, No. 1 are the lowest in Westchester County for large consumers of water and re- commended that a slight increase be made in the rates to large con- sumers in order approximately to off-set the anticipated deficit. Even with this proposed increase in rates, he added, the rates to the large consumers would still be as low as or lower than in any other communities in the County. Upon motion by Mr. Griffin, seconded by Mr. Bates, it was upon roll call unanimously RESOLVED, that the water rates to be charged by the Town of Mamaroneck for the year ensuing after February 1, 1936, be fixed as follows: (a) For the period from Feb. 1, 1936, to the time of the March readings of the Westchester Joint Water Works No. 1 the rates and service charges as now in effect; J 1, (b) For the period from the time of the March readings to February 1, 1937, the rates and service charges now in effect except that for the next 250,000 cubic feet of water over 50,000 cubic feet the rate be 16� per 100 cubic feet, and for all over 300,000 cubic feet the rate be 14�; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be directed to file the schedule thereof with the Clerk of the Westchester Joint Water Works, No. 1, pursuant to law. At 3:50 P. M. the Board unanimously resolved to adjourn. /! lid
