Y. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch at 10:00 A. M. Present: Supervisor LeCulloch Councilmen Bates, Griffin, Mandeville, Aeginniss Absent: None The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Payne and Town Attorney Delius. The Supervisor stated that the meeting had been called in accordance with the provisions of Section 66 of the Election Law for the purpose of designating the place in each election district in the Town at which the meetings for the registration of voters and elections and primaries shall be held in the year following the ensuing first day of October. ' Town Clerk Payne presented two letters received following the action of the Town Board at the statutory meeting held August 16, 1938. The senders had been advised that same would receive consi- deration at this meeting. The members of the Board requested the Town Clerk to read the letters. One letter dated August 19, 1938, signed by Republican Committeemen Thomas E. Nolan, Cornelius Costello and Democratic Committeemen John Day and William J. Lysaght of the Tenth Election District, recommended that a more convenient location be named as the polling place for the district mentioned.. The other letter dated October 5, 1938, received from T. Guilford Smith, carried a recommendation that the polling place for the Ninth Election District be changed to a location within the district. Councilman Griffin stated that he was familiar with the arrangement in Larchmont Village and recommended that the polling places in the Ninth and Tenth Election Districts be changed. Councilman Mandeville favored a new arrangement . Councilman Bates recommended that the polling place in the Second Election District be changed to a more convenient location. On motion by Councilman Griffin, seconded by Councilman Bates, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that in accordance with the provisions of Section 66 of the Election Law, being Chapter 17 of the Consolidated Laws of the State of hew York as amended, the Town Board of the Town of namaroi ewc hereby designates the place in each election district in the Town at which the meetings for the 'registration of voters and elections and primaries shall be held in the year following the ensuing first day of October: DISTRICT NO. 1 Mamaroneck Avenue School Mamaroneck Avenue, Mamaroneck, N. Following the statutory meeting the Supervisor stated that it would be in order to discuss other business which might be placed before the Board. Town Attorney Delius stated that he had received an inquiry as to whether or not the Post Lodge property could be used as a trailer camp. He called to the attention of the Board the fact that on May 29, 1939, a bill had been passed authorizing towns to regulate ME the use of house trailers and the licensing of tourist camps and trailer camps . He referred to the general ordinance of the Town of Mamaroneck as it is in its present form and suggested that certain amendments be added. Following some discussion the Board unanimously directed the Town Attorney to prepare amendments to the general ordinance of the Town and to have a notice of a public hearing to be held on Septem- ber 5, 1939, published in The Daily Times, the official newspaper in the Town of Mamaroneck, on or before August 26, 1939 . The Supervisor asked if there was any other business to come before the meeting. There being no business, the meeting, adjourned at 11: 20 A. M.
