Y. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor lacCulloch at 5:30 P . 111. Present : Supervisor Bert C. ,,IGCulloch Councilmen: George V. Bates Edward C. Griffin Owen A. I4Iandeville Edward B. keginniss Absent: None The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Payne and Town Attorney Delius. The Supervisor presented the following resolution which was upon motion by Councilman Griffin, seconded by Councilman Bates unanimously adopted: RESOLVED BY THE T&.1LI BOARD OF THE TOMN OF idAEARO14ECK , 111 THE COUNTY OF WES'TCHESTER, NEVV YORK, as follows: Section 1. In anticipation of the -receipt of unpaid State , County, 'Down and Town District taxes for the fiscal year, beginning January 1, 1939 and ending December 31, 1939, and for the purpose of providing moneys (a) to pay to the County Treasurer the amount of unpaid State and County taxes, and (b ) to meet the lawful expenditures of the Town and of the town districts under the appropriations for said year, the Supervisor is hereby authorized and directed to issue a Certificate of Indebtedness of the Town in the principal amount of' .'L150, 000. , pursuant to Chapter 105 of the Laws of 1916 of the State of New York, as amended. Section 2. It is hereby determined and declared: (a) The total amount of State ® County, Town and Town District taxes levied in said Town for said fiscal year, is 41,292,217 .77. (b) The total amount of said. taxes due and unpaid, is "lo0,303. 93. (c ) The total amount heretofore borrowed ana outstand- ing in anticipation of the collection of said taxes is none . Y. The meeting was tailed to order by Supervisor McCulloch at 8 ; 00 P . Ivi. Present ; Supervisor McCulloch Councilmen Bates, Griffin and :Mandeville Absent : Councilman Meginniss The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Payne, Town Attorney Delius, Assessor :Smith, Comptroller Luceno and Town Engineer Foote . The Supervisor asked if there was any one present who wished to address the Board. There being no one the Board proceed-ed with the regular order of business. The minutes for the meetings of July 12, August 2, August 10, September 5, October 4 and October 20, were approved as presented. Councilman 14andeville reported_ that the Town had completed work in connection with the construction of 320 feet of the 30-inch storm water drain through the Town property in the Town yard near Weaver Street . He stated that it would require about 625 feet of pipe to connect with the culvert at the Boston Post Road.. Following some discussion Town Engineer Foote was directed to prepare estimates for the completion of the project. Mr. nandeviile reported for the Highway Department by stating that everything was all right. He stated that the residents of the Town were quite pleased about the improvements being made by the 1�ew York, Ve-,^r raven c: Hartford Railroad Company at the Larchmont Station. He stated that the station building was in need- of a paint job and sug- gested that the company be requested- to do this work. The Supervisor agreed with 'air. ri.andeville ana stated that he would write a letter to the railroad company. Councilman Iv=andeville presented for the approval of the Board a list of highway claims. Upon motion by Councilman I!nandeville, seconded by Councilman Griffin, upon -roll call, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the follo:ving claims filed with the Comptroller; other than payroll, which are chargeable against the highway budget of 1939, are audited and payment thereof approved: Item Warrant No. Zo.
