The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch
at 5;30 P .
Present: Supervisor McCulloch
Councilmen Bates, Griffin, Mandeville,
Meginniss
Absents None
The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Payne, Assessor
Smith and Town Engineer Foote .
Supervisor icCulloch read a letter dated September 22,
1935, received. from Frank M. Gagliardi, attorney for lforris H.
Petigor and Larch.-nont Development Company, Inc, Mr. Gagliardi
stated that his clients had requested Town Assessor Smith to ap-
portion the assessment for the 1938 school taxes on their property
so as to show se-oarately land now owned by them. He requested
that the Board consider the application made through Mr. Smith.
Following a lengthy discussion, it was upon motion by
Councilman Griffin, seconded by Councilman i;iandeville, unanimously
RESOLVED ATHEREAS, the Assessor has presented
a petition dated. September 24, 1938, for the
correction of the assessment roll for the year
1937, taxes of 1938, pursuant to the provisions
of Section 33 of Chapter 105 of the Laws of 1916,
as amended, known as the Westchester County Tax
Act• and
WHEREAS, after due consideration this Board finds
it desirable to grant said petition _or the cor-
rection of said assessment roll:
NOVA, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the assessment roll for the year
1937, taxes of 1938, which shores property now
appearing on the rolls as folloviss

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessment roll for
the year 1937, taxes of 1938, which shows pro-
perty now appearing on the rolls as follows :

Supervisor McCulloch read a letter dated September 24, 1938
received from Franklin Brooks of Larchmont. vir. Brooks offered to
have put down in the Town of Mamaroneck without charge a new type of
road stripe . After discussion the matter was referred to the Police
Coyamission.
The Supervisor opened discussion concerning the flood con-
dition created by the downpour of rain which fell during a tropical
hurricane which swept this area. for several days, ending September 21,
1938. It was also mentioned that a condition somewhat similar was
caused during heavy rains in the month of July, 1938 .
Following the discussion it was decided that Town Engineer
Foote be instructed to make a study of the conditions along the
Shelddrake River and to submit a plan which would eliminate all con-
ditions termed "bottle necks ". He was asked to pa-y particular at-
tention to the bridges®
At 6: 30 P. 1v1. the Board unanimously resolved to adjourn.
