TOWN OF ILUITARONECK, NEW YORK
HFI,D JANUARY 15TH, 1934
At the Town Offices , 118 West Boston Post Road, IdIamaroneck, I7. Y.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch
at 8:15 P. V.
Present: Supervisor McCulloch
Councilmen : Bates, Brennan, Griffin and Meginniss
The presence was also noted of Town Clerk Marvin and
Tw,rrn Attorney Delius.
The Board immediately urent into executive session and
conferred with the Citizens Advisory Finance Committee, the appointment
of which was heretofore authorized , in regard to the town's financial
situation. Mr. Gaylor C. Cummin, who together with Mr. Charles A.
Harmon, prepared a financial survey and report on the town 's financial
condition, explained his report.
The presence at this meeting was noted of the following.
Edward A. Keeler, R. J. Whitney, F. H. Bull, jr. , Mayor Henry Hornidge ,
James A. Gillies, George P. Auld, A. E. Wullschleger, George L[arshall,
Joseph F. Gleason, Philip Dreissigacker, W. Henry Hirschmann, Just4
Henderson, J. J. Ryan.
An informal motion by Tier. Keeler was unanimously approved to
the effect that it was the consensus of opinion of those present that
a large increase in taxes is unavoidable but that the tot?n government
be urged to cut the levy as much as possible in order to keep taxes
down to a minimum.
At 12:10 P Iii. the Board unanimously resolved to adjourn
subject to the call of the chair.
