A regular meeting of the Coastal Zone Management Commission (CZMC) was held on June 27,
2011 in the Mamaroneck Town Center, Conference Room D, 1st Floor, 740 W. Boston Post
Road, Mamaroneck, New York. The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

1. Approval of Minutes
The Minutes of the May 23, 2011 meeting were approved as submitted.
2. Referral—50 Country Road, Block 315, Lot 482 —Wetlands and Watercourses
Permit—Installation of a Sediment Basin at Pond, Referred by the Town of
Mamaroneck Planning Board
The applicant and neighbor at 48 Country Road own a small, unnamed pond located
adjacent to Country Road. Over time, the pond has been filling with sediment, leaves and
debris. The applicant is proposing to install a weir wall, creating a sediment basin or
forebay across the head of the pond. This would prevent additional material from
entering the remainder of the pond and allow the applicant to periodically clean the basin.
CZMC found the proposal to be consistent with the policies in the Local Waterfront
Revitalization Program. The construction of the sediment basin will improve water
quality by trapping sediment and leaves before they travel downstream and will make it
easier for the periodic removal of accumulated sediment and debris.
3. Village of Mamaroneck LWRP
The Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees is in the process of updating their LWRP
and sent a Declaration of Intent to be Lead Agency to all interested agencies. Stephen
Altieri, the Town Administrator asked CZMC to review the document and provide him
with any comments.

CZMC had no objections to the Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees being lead
agency on this matter. However, CZMC requested the opportunity to review and
comment on the Village of Mamaroneck's LWRP as the document is developed.
4. Town of Mamaroneck/Village of Larchmont LWRP Review and Discussion
This will be discussed at the next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
The next scheduled CZMC meeting will be held on MONDAY, July 25, 2011 at the
Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 W. Boston Post Road, 1st Floor Conference Room D.
