a. Horseshoe Harbor Yacht Club —Pier Reconstruction
Referred by the Village of Larchmont Building Department
Craig Plate, Keith Lundgren, Pam Michels and John Santalone presented their plans
for the reconstruction of the Pier at the Horseshoe Harbor Yacht Club that was
destroyed during a storm.
CZMC found the proposed action to be consistent with the policies in the LWRP.
However, it was recommended that the club consider modifying the design, allowing
the ramp to be raised, in order to protect it from storm damage.

3. LWRP Discussion
Charles McCaffrey led the discussion of the policies pertaining to Energy Conservation,
Air Quality and Solid and Hazardous Waste. It was agreed that the proposed policies in
the LWRP must support the Town and Village efforts to conserve energy, reduce
greenhouse gases, prevent flooding and erosion. Plans prepared by the Town and Village
should be reviewed to ensure that they do not conflict with the LWRP's policies and that
current laws and plans do not prevent these goals from being achieved.
Separate work sessions are recommended for the next three discussion topics, which
include: Water Quality, Wildlife Habitat and Flooding & Erosion. Charles will speak
with Stephen Altieri about reviewing these documents and will update him on our new
work schedule, which will need to be extended until May or June.
CZMC members will be poled to determine if we can have our next meeting on March
25`h to accommodate Charles' schedule.
4. Old Business
No Old Business to discuss.
5. New Business
No New Business to discuss.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
