Hearing Amendment to prior approved subdivision
Steve Marsh, the applicant, addressed the Board explaining the revised drainage plan.
Mr. Rosenbaum read into the record the letter from Coastal Zone Management Commission
("CZMC") dated December 7, 2010 and Board members discussed the recommendations in the
letter.
Mr. Oliveri stated that he has issues with CZMC letter. In particular, there was never a retention
system proposed because of rock on the site and, because of the rocky conditions, the applicant
can only provide detention and cannot use infiltrators. Mr. Oliveri stated that the proposed
drainage line would adequately address flooding concerns in light of the unique conditions on the
site.
Ms.Picciotto inquired about downstream impacts. Mr. Oliveri explained that the theory is that
the water would hit downstream before the peak flow hits.
