The Board welcomed Anna Reisman as a member.
The Board discussed a request. dated June 24 . 1988 ► from
41) Dolores A. Battalia. Supervisor. Town of Mamaroneck► about
whether a former member of the Town Board might make a
presentation the Town Board. The Board of Ethics concluded that
in the absence of special circumstances. Section 24-5 (0) of the
Code of Ethics would clearly prohibit a former member of the Town
Board whose term of service expired less than two years ago from
appearing before the Town Board on behalf of his law firm.
The Board then considered the "Draft of Proposed Ethics Act
for New York State Municipalities. " dated May 23 ► 1988. Dis-
tributed for Public Comment by the New York State Commission on
Government Integrity. The Board agreed to hold another meeting
(scheduled for July 7 . 1988) to discuss the proposal with a
representative of the Commission.
