At a special meeting of the Town of Mamaroneck(TOM) Board of Ethics (BOE), on February 27, 1997 in
Conference Room A, Mamaroneck Town Center, meeting called to order by Chairwomen at 8:00 P.M.
Present:
Anna Reisman, Chairwoman.
Christine Helwig
Martin Ronan
Robert Degen
Absent:
Barry Weprin. liaison
The minutes of February 27, 1997 meeting were approved with corrections.
Reports:
Chairwoman circulates proposed advisory opinion.
Chairwoman circulates proposed letter to Supervisor regarding revised disclosure statements and
disclosure compliance.
Degen circulates proposed revised disclosure statement form.
ISSUE:
This meeting was held to approve the proposed advisory opinion to Supervisor and the proposed letter
to Supervisor regarding revised disclosure statements and compliance issues. Discussion followed.
Recommended changes to the letters approved.
ISSUE:
Noted that the newly numbered Code, (" §17_") contains an Article II consisting of the disclosure
statement. Not included in previously numbered Code. BOE notes its authority under Code to prescribe form
of disclosure statement and Chairwoman will advise the Supervisor.
Next meeting to be scheduled when all new disclosure forms are returned.
Meeting adjourned at 9:50 P.M.
