At a special meeting of the Town of Mamaroneck(TOM) Board of Ethics (BOE), on May 6, 1999 in Conference Room
A, Mamaroneck Town Center, meeting called to order by Chairwomen at 8:05 P.M.
Present:
Anna Reisman, Chairwoman.
Martin Ronan
Robert Degen
Edwin Kaufman
Absent:
Barry Weprin, liaison
Carol Scharf
The minutes of December 16, 1998 meeting were approved.
Reports:
Chairwomen welcomes Dr. Edwin Kaufman to the BOE.
reports recent articles in Journal News dealing with ethics issues and boards.
ISSUE: The BOE reviewed a the package of disclosure statements for 1999. 49 statements were reviewed and
44 were accepted. 5 statements were returned for further information. The 44 accepted statements were
reviewed by all four members present and no conflicts/appearance of conflict noted.
BOE to meet after 5 outstanding disclosures are returned.
The meeting adjourned at 8:50 PM.
