held January* 23rd, 1932.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Burton at 3;50 P. M
Present: Supervisor Burton
Justices Boyd, Burbank
Town Clerk Marvin
The Clerk presented the Supervisor's surety bond in the
amount of $25,000., issued by the New Amsterdam Casualty Company,
and called the Board's attention to the fact that the bond required
the approval of the Board.
Upon motion by Justice Boyd, seconded by Justice Burbank it
was upon roll call (Supervisor not voting) unanimously
R-TSO=M1 that the surety bond of the Supervisor
in the amount of $25,000. issued by the New Amsterdam
Casualty Company, be and it hereby is approved.
The members of the Board thereupon signed the bond in token
of their approval.
The Clerk presented the surety bond of Receiver of Taxes
Santo Lanza, in the amount of `"25,000., issued by Pmployers Liability
Assurance Corporation, Ltd., and stated that the bond required the
approval of the Board.
Upon motion by the Clerk sdconded by Justice Boyd, it was
upon roll call unanimously
RESOLVED, that the surety bond of Receiver of Taxes
Santo Lanza in the amount of $259000. issued by the
Employers Liability Assurance Corporation, Ltd. be and
it hereby is approved.
The members of the Board thereupon signed the bond in token
of their approval.
The Supervisor reported that he was in receipt of a depositary
bond in the amount of $75,000 issued by United States Fidelity & Guaranty
Co. covering deposits of town funds in the First National Bank of
Mount Vernon, and handed same to the Clerk for filing.
Upon motion by Justice Boyd, seconded by Justice Burbank it was
upon roll call unanimously
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is
authorized to attend to the publication, of the
annual highway report and the annual report of the
Supervisor, both of which are to be published in
the Daily Times, one insertion each, and also the
publication of the audited town accounts in pamphlet
form according to law.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board unanimously
resolved to recess at 5:20 P.M. to meet again at the call of the chair
to take up such matters as might properly come before it.
