CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Jacobson,Acting Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:00 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Upon a motion made and duly seconded the minutes of January 27, 2005 were approved as
• amended. The minutes of February 17,2005 meeting were not approved at this time.
Acting Chairman Jacobson read the applications as follows:
CHEN'S KITCHEN -2423 Boston Post Road
Block 505, Lot 463-sign (adjourned 2/17/05)
Jin Jaing, owner of Chen's Kitchen, approached the Board and explained the application.
After some review the Board approved the application with the following conditions:
1. The Chen's Kitchen sign above the window is approved with 10-inch high light blue
lettering as submitted.
2. The signage on the window is approved as submitted. The applicant is to add the
address numbers on the front door.
3. The sign is to be externally illuminated.
On a motion made and seconded, the following resolution was ADOPTED:
WHEREAS, Chen's Kitchen has submitted an application to the Director of Building, together
with plans for signage; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Building has declined to issue such permit on the grounds that the
review by the Board of Architectural Review is required; and
• WHEREAS, Chen's Kitchen submitted an application for approval to the Board; and

WHEREAS, this Board has examined the plans, inspected the site, reviewed the application
and has heard all persons interested in this application; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the subject application be and the same is GRANTED, subject to the
following conditions:
1. The Chen's Kitchen sign above the window is approved with 10-inch high
light blue lettering as submitted.
2. The signage on the window is approved as submitted. The applicant is to
add the address numbers on the front door.
3. The sign is to be externally illuminated.
CUSTOM CAR WORKS, LTD -630-636 Fifth Avenue
Block 132, Lot 78—sign and facade (adjourned to 4/21/05)
The applicant did not appear at the meeting. The Board looked the application over and had these
brief comments:
1. The applicant should work in some landscaping to the proposal.
2. The sign should be placed to the left of the front door.
3. The rest of the building should also be addressed as far as exterior finishes and
• pavement.
4. The existing pole sign should be removed according to Town Code.

NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the BAR will be held on April 21,2005.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was unanimously adjourned.
