The meeting was called to order by Supervisor McCulloch
at 5:20 P. M. (Eastern War Time) .
Present: Supervisor McCulloch

The Supervisor recommended to the Board that an appeal be
taken to the State Tax Commission, pursuant to the provisions of the
Westchester County Charter, from the Equalization Table, made by the
County Tax Commission of the assessed values in 1941 for the various
tax districts in Westchester County. He stated he believed injustice
had been done to the Town of Mamaroneck in that the equalization of
assessments and correction of the roils for the County had inequitably
and illegally equalized the 'Town of Mamaroneck too low, and other towns
in the County too high to the detriment of the Town of Mamaroneck. He
submitted notice of appeal, affidavit and a consent to be signed by the
members of the Town Board in which they approve and consent to the bring-
ing of the appeal.
Upon motion made by Councilman Mandeville, and seconded by
Councilman Brewer, it was unanimously
RESOLVED that such appeal be brought.
The members of the Board thereupon signed the consent.
The Supervisor asked if there was any other business to be
considered by the Board.
