Present:Arthur Wexler, Chairman, Irene O'Neill,Jeffery King,Jonathan Sacks,Alternate. Also Present: Ronald Carpaneto, Building Inspector, Kevin G. Ryan, Counsel,Jonathan Sacks,Alternate. Absent/Excused: Seth Marcus, Evans Simpson, Lisa Hochman, Counsel, Ernest Odierna,Town Board Liaison. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:50P.M. MINUTES: The minutes were tabled. APPLICATION NO. 1 CASE NO.2989 Michael Mendelsohn Michael and Susan Mendelsohn addressed the Board, Mr. Mendelsohn stated they bought this their first home over 10 years ago with snow on the ground. They moved in during the winter and realized the stairs were in need of repair in the spring;the contractor they called suggested a deck and never got a permit. Talking to neighbors they realized a permit was required and tried to correct the omission and found they also needed a variance. Mr. Wexler stated he wants a construction plan for the deck and an as built survey showing the exact measurements. Mr. Mendelsohn requested an adjournment. Motion: To adjourn the matter to April 22, 2015 Action:Approved Moved by Arthur Wexler, Chairman, Seconded by Irene O'Neill. Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote (summary:Yes=4). CASE NO.2090 Robert and Barbara Barber 1 Motion:To open the public hearing Action:Approved Moved by Arthur Wexler,Chairman,Seconded by Jonathan Sacks,Alternate. Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote (summary:Yes=4). Yes:Arthur Wexler, Chairman, Irene O'Neill,Jeffery King,Jonathan Sacks,Alternate. Mr. Barber addressed the Board stated they were before the Board and received a variance in 2008 for the re-apportionment of the piece of property and didn't complete it,therefore the variance must be requested again. Their neighbors at 11 Leafy Lane would still like to purchase the parcel as it is the same elevation as part of their property. The Board discussed the survey and the parcel in question. Mr. Wexler stated there was no information as to whether the property would be over 35% impervious surface if the parcel is to be re-apportioned. Mr. Ryan stated that if there is something else that requires a variance the applicant would be required to renotice and return. Motion: To adjourn the matter to April 22, 2015 Action:Approved Moved by Arthur Wexler, Chairman, Seconded by Irene O'Neill. Vote: Motion carried by unanimous roll call vote (summary:Yes=4). Motion:The minutes of February 25, 2015 were approved with technical corrections Action:Approved 2 Moved by Jonathan Sacks,Alternate, Seconded by Jeffery King. Vote: Motion passed (summary:Yes=3, No= 0,Abstain = 1). Yes:Arthur Wexler, Chairman,Jeffery King,Jonathan Sacks,Alternate. Abstain: Irene O'Neill. ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 8:28P.M.
