The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Mandeville at 9 o 'clock A.M. (Eastern Standard Time) PRESENT: Supervisor Mandeville Councilmen: Embury, Watson, Mills and 'McKeever ABSENT:: None Presence was also noted of Town Attorney Delius, Town Accountant Finson and Town Clerk Gronberg . The members of the Board discussed the Budget, page by page, and prepared the following itemized statement of the estimated revenues and expenditures of the Town, for the fiscal year commencing January. 1st, 1950, which statement is known as the Annual Estimate : PRELIMINARY BUDGET ESTIMATED DISBURSEMENTS GENERAL TOWN 1. Debt Service -- GRAND TOTAL $739,345.97 839 GENERAL TOWN Interest and Penalties on Taxes 5,000.00 Justices ' Fines and Fees 3,000.00 Town Clerk's Fees 19200.00 Mortgage Tax 7,000.00 Cash Available 76,261.00 Building and Plumbing Fees 10000.00 Per Capita Assistance for Support of Local Government 112,000.00 Fees Zoning Board of Appeals 150.00 OUTSIDE OF VILLAGES Dog Licenses 1,650.o0 Franchise Payments 1,000.00 State Aid ® Highways 10000.00 WATER DISTRICT 110. 1 f Water Revenues 42,084.00 PARK DISTRICT NO.1 Cash TOTAL REVENUES $2549845.00 On motion by Councilman Embury, seconded by Councilman Watson, it was , upon roll call, unanimously RESOLVED that the foregoing Preliminary Estimate or Tax Budget of the Town of Mamaroneck as prepared by this Board for the year 1950 be and it hereby is approved, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED that the said original estimate or budget be filed in the office of the Town Clerk where it will be available for inspection by any interested persons at all reasonable hours, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Hearing thereon as required by Section 113 of the Town Law be held by and before this Town Board on Wednesday, December 7th, 1949 at 8:15 P.M. in the Council Room of the Weaver Street Fire House, Town of Mamaroneck. On motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously i RESOLVED that the Town Clerk give notices of said Public Hearing as required by Section 113 of the Town Law in 18The Daily Times", the official newspaper published in the Town of Mamaroneck, in its issues of November 26th and December 3rd, 1949. A letter dated November 2nd, 1949, was received from Mr. William H. Johnson, Village Manager, advising the Board that a new nurse, Miss Yetta Lasky, 123 Lockwood Avenue, New Rochelle , New York, had. been appointed public health nurse at the Mamaroneck Health Center, on a provisional basis at a salary of $3,090 per annum, 1/2 of which amount is to be paid by the Town and 1/2 by the Village, effective November 1st, 1949, On motion by Councilman McKeever, seconded by Councilman Embury, it was unanimously RESOLVED that Yetta Lasky be and she hereby is appointed public health nurse, part time, for the Town of Mamaroneck at an annual salary of $1,545. effective November 1st, 1949, funds for which are provided in the 1949 budget. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 11:30 A.M. to meet again on December 7th, 1949. Tow er
