Extension of Sewer on Burton Road Councilman Santoro reported that he had a request from owners of property at the southerly end of Burton Road for the extension of the sewer for the purpose of ser- vicing the two new houses proposed to be built at the end of this street. He stated that investigation showed that the Town had accepted this street and paved it so the houses thereupon would have frontage on the street, but advised that the sewer construction had been stopped just short of these two proposed new houses, and recom- mended that the Town continue the sewer so these houses W could be connected, The Town Attorney advised that this should be charged against Sewer District No, 1, and Councilman Santoro advised that $4, 000 would be sufficient to cover the cost and that this money be ap- propriated in the next budget, there being no surplus at this time. He recommended, however, that this sewer not be constructed until the owners had applied for Building Permits for the construction of the pro- posed houses. On motion by Councilman Santoro, seconded by Councilman Kane, it was unanimously RESOLVED that there be constructed in the southerly end of Burton Road an extension of the sewer line for approximately 250 feet at a cost not to exceed $4, 000, the amount to be included in the budget of Sewer Dis- trict No. 1 for the year 1957.
