Town Board
Town of Mamaroneck , N. Y .
Pursuant to Section 62 of the Town Law, I hereby
call a special meeting of the Town Board, to be
held in the Office of the Supervisor at the Town
Offices, 158 West Boston Post Road, Village of
Mamaroneck, at 9:00 a. m. on Saturday, April
11th, 1970, to consider the adoption of a reso-
lution authorizing the completion and return of
Home Rule Requests for Bill S7856A - entitled
"An Act authorizing the Town of Mamaroneck
to purchase certain properties and construct
thereon a Police Station, Court House and other
municipal buildings out-of Part-Town funds".

notice of the attached Notice of Special
Meeting called by the Supervisor on
April 11th, 1970, and consent that this

MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD
OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD APRIL 11th, 1970
IN THE OFFICE OF THE SUPERVISOR, TOWN OFFICES,
158 WEST BOSTON POST ROAD, MAMARONECK, N. Y.
CALL TO ORDER
The Supervisor called the meeting to order at 9:00 a. m. in
accordance with the Notice of Meeting and Waiver thereof
hereto appended for the record.
ROLL CALL
Present: Supervisor Helwig
Councilman Faiola
Councilman Nagel
Councilman Vandernoot
Councilman Bloom
Absent: None
Also Present: Mr. Gronberg - Town Clerk
Mrs. Brewer - Deputy Clerk
Mr. Johnston - Town Attorney
Adoption of Resolution
Authorizing Completion and Return
Home Rule Request Bill S 7856A
The Supervisor explained that this meeting had been called
since she had received the amended Senate bill for the pur-
chase of certain properties and construction of municipal
buildings thereon out of Part-Town funds together with
Senator Gioffre's request for immediate completion and re-
turn of the Home Rule Request on last Wednesday, April 8th.
She further stated that she was certain the Board would re-
call that it had authorized completion and return of the com-
panion amended Assembly bill at its last meeting and in-
quired as to the Board's pleasure.
Whereupon on a motion offered by Councilman Nagel and
seconded by Councilman Vandernoot, the following reso-
lution was offered:
RESOLVED, that this Board hereby au-
thorizes that the Home Rule Request for
submission to the Senate of the New
York State Legislature in support of
- Bill S 7856A entitled,
AN ACT
authorizing the Town of
Mamaroneck to purchase

certain properties and-
construct thereon a
Police Station, Court
House and other munic-
ipal buildings out of
Part-Town funds
be completed and returned in accordance.,
with the directions set forth on said forms.
Upon roll call, the vote on the foregoing resolution was as
follows and the resolution therefore duly adopted by ma-
jority vote:
Supervisor Helwig - Aye
Councilman Faiola - Naye
Councilman Nagel - Aye
Councilman Vandernoot - Aye
Councilman Bloom - Aye
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the meeting,
on motion duly made and seconded, it was declared at 9: 10.
