HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985_09_10 Town Board Minutes MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MAMARONECK, HELD ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 1985 IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF THE WEAVER STREET FIREHOUSE, TOWN OF MAMARONECK The meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. by Supervisor Battalia. Present were the following: Supervisor Dolores A. Battalia Councilwoman Caroline Silverstone Councilman Lee H. Bloom Councilman Thomas R. Amlicke Councilman Lawrence A. Lerman Also present were: Steven M. Silverberg, Counsel Stephen V. Altieri, Town Administrator Wallace Irwin, Coastal Zone Management Committee Co-Chairman Shirley Tolley, Coastal Zone Management Committee Co-Chairman Elaine Price, Coastal Zone Management Committee member The purpose of the meeting was to hold a work session to review the zoning proposals in the Coastal Zone Managment plan and to obtain guidance from the Board in order to begin preparation of the DEIS required for the plan. Steven Silverberg also presented background information on the current zoning in the case of the affected areas, more specifically the golf courses in the Town. There was discussion about various alternatives to deal with the concept of cluster zoning in the golf course areas. It was decided that Councilman Bloom and Councilman Lerman will work with Counsel to develop appropriate legislation for cluster zoning that will be sent to the Coastal Zone Management Committee for review. On motion by Councilman Lerman and seconded by Councilwoman Silverstone, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the Board adjourn into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel. The Board discussed the proposed Ethics Law and the personnel to be included. Counsel will draft a sample disclosure form. On motion by Councilman Lerman and seconded by Councilwoman Silverstone, the Executive Session was adjourned. There being no further business to come before this Board, on motion by Councilman Bloom, seconded by Councilwoman Silverstone, the meeting was adjourned at 9:25 p.m. Respectfully submitted , Stephen V.
